We are so pleased to have
produced this clutch. I had been trying to sell the parents
early
in the fall, but had no takers. I bought the parents from VPI
several years ago, and
this is their first clutch. Ten eggs were laid on January 1st
2004. Unfortunately several
were infertile or died early on due to poor husbandry. These
little guys were laid unexpectedly early and were late getting into
ideal incubation conditions. The three
that made it this far are healthy, vigorous little hatchlings.
I'll get more data up as the
last one leaves the egg.
